About

Brijesh Singh

I was born on September 15, 1968 in Maharashtra. I pursued my BSc degree from Ruia College in Mumbai. From a young age, I found myself drawn to the teachings of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and actively participated in RSS branch meetings. At the age of 30, in 1998, I became a dedicated volunteer, committing 14 years of hardwork and dedication to the RSS.

During my time with the RSS, I felt a strong desire to make a positive impact on the suffering of people around me. However, lacking power and identity, I decided to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2012. This decision transformed me into the person I am today. As a grassroot worker at the local level, I have undertaken numerous initiatives to serve the people. Presently, I hold the position of General Minister of the North Bhartiya Morcha.

Being a resident of Malad, I am intimately familiar with this particular area, especially Malvani Malad. It is disheartening to witness the lack of basic facilities in this region. Where even young children are succumbing to drug addiction. I was among the first to recognise the need for action in this area, and I believed that political influence was necessary to address these issues. Hence, I chose to align myself with the BJP faction dedicating my efforts to the welfare of the people in Malad and other underprivileged individuals.

In Malad, I had provided financial and social assistance to numerous dahi handi groups, supporting approximately 50 to 60 groups. The Malvani area of Malad, predominantly inhabited by Musilms, had several small temples that had fallen into disrepair. With the support of the local community and my financial contributions, these temples were reconstructed. The objective was to instill good values in the children and provide the elderly with the opportunity to benefit from spiritual gatherings.

Additionally, I organized groups of pilgrims heading to Pandharpur Wari and ensured they received necessary medical checkups and other essential provisions through the assistance of myself and my team.

Mumbai’s public Ganeshostasav celebration is marked by immense joy. However, in Malvani and other areas of Malad, numerous small and large mandals faced challenges due to bureaucratic indifference. I took the initiative, alongside my supporters, to advocate for their rights and strive for justice. My commitment to social causes has been unwavering, and I have organized various cultural programs such as Shobha Yatra on the occasion of Gudi Padwa. Furthermore, I have actively facilitated the implementation of several schemes introduced by Prime Minister Modi, ensuring they reach rural areas and benefit the common people.
Collaborating with Honorable MP Gopal Shetty, we successfully developed several villages in the Palghar district through the Pradhan Mantri Sansad Gram Yojana. Leveraging the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, my colleagues and I facilitated the opening of 1100 accounts with the Union Bank. Moreover, we extended assistance to 10,000 beneficiaries through the Self Fund Yojana. These initiatives aimed to provide support and benefits to those in need.
Throughout these endeavors, I came to realize that many schemes designed to assist the poor and common men of India were not reaching them due to information gaps and other barriers.

This realization compelled me to engage actively in politics, working tirelessly for the public of interest and fighting for the rights of the Hindu community in Malad and Malvani.
I vow to continue fighting for the underprivileged and the common men of Malad and Mumbai.
